Inzamam-ul-Haq has called for the result of the controversial fourth Test at The Oval to be wiped out, whilst his Pakistan team-mates are threatening not to play again until after their captain's disciplinary hearing.
Inzamam will attend an ICC disciplinary enquiry on Friday where he will face two charges of breaching the code of conduct after his side refused to take the field following an allegation of ball-tampering from Australian umpire Darrell Hair.
However, the Pakistan skipper, who is expected to contest the charges, has now set his sights on having the result of the match overturned after England were awarded victory.
The win, granted after the umpires deemed Pakistan to have forfeited the match, gave England a 3-0 series triumph, but Inzi wants the fourth and final match to be declared null and void following its dramatic cancellation.
"Pakistan were in a winning position but England were declared the winners, so our disappointment is very natural," Inzamam wrote in Pakistan's Daily Jang newspaper.
"Now our effort is to change the result of the match. Pakistan will request the ICC that instead of awarding it to England, it should be declared a no-result match."
Inzamam faces the prospect of an eight-match ban if found guilty at his hearing, a move which Pakistan have already intimated could see them abandon the tour of England altogether.
However, they have now revealed that they could skip their one-day match with Middlesex, scheduled for Thursday, in a bid to show solidarity with their under-fire skipper.
"I have spoken to Inzamam and some players who are contemplating not playing any matches until the hearing is held," tour manager Zaheer Abbas stated.
"The players want to see what happens at the hearing before deciding what to do.
"Let us see what happens but definitely the players are not happy with the charges brought against their captain."
