Superman Returns star Brandon Routh is to marry his girlfriend Courtney Ford, his spokeswoman has announced.
The 26-year-old actor proposed to Ford, 28, earlier this month, Kacey Spies told the Associated Press. They intend to marry next year.
The couple have made a short film together called Denial.
Routh had only a few TV roles to his credit when he was handpicked by The Usual Suspects director Bryan Singer to play the Man of Steel.
