Ashley Young has been drafted into the England Under-21 squad for next month's clash with Switzerland.
Peter Taylor has named a 24-man squad for the European Championship qualifier against the Swiss.
Young has been given the call after impressing in Watford's opening games in The Premiership.
Arsenal starlet Theo Walcott keeps his place in the squad after scoring on his debut against Moldova earlier this month.
Scott Carson also remains in the squad despite being named in England's World Cup party.
Hull midfielder John Welsh and Aston Villa's Peter Whittingham are back in the squad after missing the Moldova game.
England drew 2-2 against Moldova in the first game of the three-team group and they need a positive result against Switzerland to keep alive their hopes of qualification.
