After seeing a few of these around on other sites, i thought we should start up our own one. Rules are simple really. I will give you a set list of matches and all you have to do is predict whether it is going to be a home win (H), away win (A), score draw (SD) or no-score draw (ND). For example, if you think Chelsea are going to beat Manchester City tomorrow then just put a H next to that fixture etc. If you correctly predict the outcome of a match, you will be awarded 3 pts. If you predict a result and its wrong you will receive 0 pts except if you predict a score draw and its a no-score draw and vice versa where you will pick up 1 pt. Below are the first set of fixtures. Just copy and paste them in a reply and predict away:
Tuesday, 22 August 2006 Tottenham vs Sheff Utd Watford vs West Ham
Wednesday, 23 August 2006 Aston Villa vs Reading Blackburn vs Everton Charlton vs Man Utd Fulham vs Bolton Man City vs Portsmouth Middlesbrough vs Chelsea

it will be ye but its only gonna be a three 'team' table at the moment. still people that join late can still take part its just that if they dont sign up before tomorrows matches they'll be behind a bit points wise.

Question for ya guys. Do you think we should include some selected football league and/or spl matches as well? obviously we cant predict all premiership, football league and spl matches cos it would be too hard and would take ages to work out scores but we could select a few of the biggest matches to predict.

dunno. just have to look at fixtures before each matchday and see whihc ones look the most interesting for each league like a top-of-the-table clash or relegation six-pointer.
